For the third year in a row Grindeks has been named the best listed company in Latvia and has won the Baltic Corporate Excellence Award 2010. In the pan-Baltic rating, which ranks 36 companies, Grindeks was recognized as the fourth-best company this year.
JSC Grindeks has received the high evaluation for the previous business achievements and capability to hold the position as the leading pharmaceutical company in the Baltic States. The experts have also noted the orientation of Grindeks business activities towards the major shareholders, the strong product brand Mildronate® and the successful geographical diversification. To keep the honour of the best listed company in Latvia for the third year also helped such corporate quality criteria as business model, transparency and corporate governance that turn JSC Grindeks into an attractive investment object.
The annual “Baltic Corporate Excellence Award” survey is made by the financial research company “CE Services”, in order to nominate the best listed company in the Baltic States and the best companies in each of the countries, as well as to motivate other companies to improve their corporate qualities such as financial state, management quality, etc.
For the best listed company in the Baltic States is nominated the Lithuanian telecommunications company “Teo LT” that has also won among listed companies in Vilnius. In Estonia has won the water company “Tallinna Vesi”.
