Grindeks Strengthens International Partnerships at CPHI Milan 2026

22/10/2026

In October, CPHI Milan 2026 took place in Milan, Italy – one of the world’s leading events for the pharmaceutical industry, bringing together more than 62,000 industry professionals from over 160 countries. Grindeks representatives also attended the event.

CPHI brings together pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, suppliers and other industry professionals from around the world, providing a platform for establishing new business contacts, strengthening existing partnerships and gaining insight into the latest industry trends. This year in Milan, particular attention was also given to artificial intelligence and new technologies, logistics and cold-chain solutions, contamination control, and other areas relevant to the pharmaceutical supply chain.

One of the main objectives for the Grindeks team was to meet with existing suppliers and manufacturers to discuss current cooperation and its further development, as well as to identify potential new partners. Face-to-face meetings also provided an opportunity to discuss the current market situation, supply chain challenges and future cooperation opportunities.

“From a procurement perspective, it is essential to identify potential supply chain risks in a timely manner in order to plan procurement more effectively and ensure the availability of the necessary raw materials. One of our priorities at CPHI was therefore to assess alternative sources of supply and broaden our network of potential suppliers. Face-to-face meetings help us better understand the situation from both sides and find solutions before potential challenges begin to affect our day-to-day operations,” says Tatjana Lasmane, Head of the Procurement Department at Grindeks.

Participation in CPHI provided an opportunity not only to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new contacts, but also to explore the latest market trends and gain a broader understanding of developments in the global pharmaceutical industry.

“International industry events like CPHI bring existing and potential partners together in one place, allowing us to discuss development plans and gain a clearer understanding of the direction in which the pharmaceutical market is evolving. At the same time, they provide an opportunity to see Grindeks in the broader context of the international pharmaceutical industry and identify new opportunities for future cooperation,” concludes Pārsla Krūmiņa, Head of API Sales at Grindeks.
