On March 30th, Splendid Palace cinema will host the most important event of Latvia’s health sector, “Annual Prize in Medicine 2022”. Grindeks, the leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Baltic states has been the general sponsor for this event for many years.

By supporting and paying tribute to the greatest healthcare professionals. In 2008, the tradition of the “Annual Prize in Medicine” began, which is important for the promotion of the welfare and health of Latvia,

“Annual Prize in Medicine” this year will be awarded in 10 nominations – “Family doctor of 2022,” “Doctor specialist of 2022,” “Dentist of 2022,” “Assistant doctor of 2022,” “Pharmacist of 2022,” “Nurse of 2022,” “Nurse assistant of 2022,” “Midwife of 2022,” and “Functional specialist of 2022,” “Hospital of 2022.” The celebratory ceremony of “Annual Prize in Medicine 2022” will be broadcasted on April 1 on the channel ReTV.
Traditionally as part of this remarkable event, the highest Grindeks professional award the D.H. Grindel award will also be presented for significant or lifetime achievement in pharmaceutical industry and medicine.
