On 24 September, an international online conference was held for doctors, the theme of the conference was “Cardiovascular diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic: problems and solutions”.
The main aim of the conference is to inform doctors about solutions to treat patients with cardiovascular diseases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Four sessions in the field of cardiology, neurology, and general therapy were conducted during the conference also the latest study data and experience within patients with cardiovascular diseases were examined.
The conference was attended by health professionals from 17 countries who listened to the leading experts from Latvia, Lithuania, and Russia, who held valuable lectures.
Prof. Andrejs Erglis (Latvia), prof. Alvils Krams (Latvia), prof. Jelena Celutkiene (Lithuania), prof. Ella Solovjova (Russia) and other opinion leaders participated in the conference.
At the same time, at the conference, each member had the opportunity to ask questions to experts, as well as to share past experiences on the treatment of patients with Covid-19. The conference took place in both Russian and English with simultaneous translation.
