On December 3, in the ceremony The Baltic Market Awards, companies listed in the Nasdaq OMX Baltic Stock exchanges have been announced and awarded as the companies with the best investor relations in 2008. JSC Grindeks was announced and awarded for the best investor relations online in the Baltic Countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Publicly available information in English about 68 listed companies has been evaluated for the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008 within the project The Baltic Market Awards<\/em>. Companies have been evaluated by more than 100 criteria including quality of annual financial statements and interim statements, company\u2019s reports to the stock exchange, company\u2019s homepage and experts\u2019 evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Latvian company SAF Tehnika<\/em> was awarded for the Best investor relations in the Baltic Countries. VST<\/em> was awarded for The Best Annual Report in the Baltic States, but Eesti Ehitus<\/em> \u2013 For the most visible improvement over the year in the Baltic Countries. Baltika<\/em> was announced for The best investor relations in Tallinn Stock Exchange, but in the Vilnius Stock exchange \u2013 TEO LT<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Evaluation Committee \u201cThe Baltic Market Awards\u201d included representatives of the mass media, investors, academics and the Baltic Stock exchanges.
