As part of the Easter gift, the medicines were transferred to the Latvian Red Cross, the Latvian Children\u2019s Fund, the \u201cSave the Children\u201d organisation and the Riga Pensioners\u2019 Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the help of the aforementioned organisations, these medicines will be passed onto children\u2019s homes, old people\u2019s homes, boarding schools, centres for large families and elsewhere \u2013 that section of our society that is most in need of moral and material support on a day to day basis. The importance of such gifts of medicines is affirmed by the large number of letters of gratitude that the company receives from various public organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Easter gift includes vitamins, anti-cough and anti-cold preparations, because non-prescription medicines are the only ones that may be presented as a gift and issued without a doctor\u2019s prescription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gifts of medicines are one of Grindeks\u2019 traditional charitable works.
